Shipping policy

Processing & Dispatch
Orders are processed and dispatched Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 12pm on a business day are typically dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12pm or on weekends and public holidays will be dispatched the next business day.
Delivery Timeframes
We use overnight courier services and aim to get your matcha to you as fast as possible. Estimated delivery timeframes once dispatched are:
- Auckland: overnight (1 business day). Occasionally 2 days depending on courier volumes
- Rest of North Island: 1–2 business days
- South Island: 2–3 business days
- Rural addresses: please allow up to 5 business days regardless of location
These timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. Delivery times may be affected by courier delays, public holidays or factors outside our control.
Shipping Rates
- Auckland: $6.99
- Rest of North Island: $8.50
- South Island: $9.50
- Rural delivery: standard rate + $6.00 rural surcharge
Rural addresses are identified at checkout. If you're unsure whether your address is classified as rural, your shipping rate will be calculated automatically when you enter your address.
Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details so you can follow your order on its way to you.
Unsuccessful Deliveries
If no one is available to receive your order, the courier may leave it in a safe place or leave a card with redelivery instructions. Nomu Matcha is not responsible for parcels that are lost or damaged after being left at an unattended address.
